La Biodola and Procchio

The dunes of fine sand, a horizon where gold meets blue, and plenty of space to relax. Biodola and Procchio are two of the island’s most popular beaches, above all because they are both convenient and very, very attractive. The first, Biodola, is at Portoferraio and provides a delightful sandy break in the many rocky inlets around Elba’s capital. Procchio has many features in common with Biodola: fine sand, plenty of space to sunbathe and beach clubs alternating with open-access beach. In both cases you’ll find beach clubs with loungers and umbrellas for the very best in comfort. Procchio is especially suitable for families, due to the easy access to the beach, the amenities such as bars, bakeries and convenience stores and because it is so close to Marina di Campo, the centre of Elba’s summer nightlife.
