La Chiusa di Rio is a renovated rural estate complex only 1500 metres from the centre of Rio nell'Elba, a charming village on the island's eastern side, in a quiet, panoramic location. The complex consists of seven apartments and a villa with communal pool (open from mid-May to mid-September), tastefully furnished and surrounded by a large garden with pine and olive trees, vines, oleander and broom, ideal for a quite holiday in contact with nature. The communal part includes the Winery, where the wines made on the estate can be tasted and purchased. The apartments are subdivided into separate blocks. The outbuilding is on two levels, containing two studio apartments with separate entrances; la Mimosa is on two levels with three two-room and one studio apartment; the Rustico, an independent two-room apartment. Each apartment has its own terrace or veranda furnished with tables and chairs, where guests can eat their meals and enjoy the view of the vineyard.
